09:55 pm: I never realized what Aly being pregnant would mean until just now. Great-grandmother. My that sounds old.

08:37 am: So now that the linins are done and the closets refreshened, it is time to start on the massaive amount of vegatables and fruits coming in. (Not that they haven't come before I just have not had the time to be involved with the process) The tomatoes are now ripe and the last of the corn is just arriving. The kitchen is a mad house.

When the noise and heat grew to extremes that no human could possibly be expected to tolorate I escaped to the herb garden where it was infinetly cooler. With my business I had forgotton how much I enjoy harvesting plants. Especially when I discovered a neglected patch of meadow tea. That will taste wonderful later this winter.

I never realized, or perhaps I simply forget from year to year, just how hot it gets in the summer time. I was out in the gardens early in the morning and as the sun rose you could literally see the plants wilting, as well as myself. The only thing that is even decent to do when it is this hot is swim, on;y I haven't yet discovered a new place around Myles "house". Any suggestions Lia?

01:53 pm: *My everyone has been extrodinarily quite recently*

I love summer. Well, most of it. The last week was tourturous because of severe heat but with lower tepretures (and stiff breezes) even a large city like Corus becomes pleasent. The breezes blew most of the stench to outside the city walls and also cleared the air for some very pleasent walking weather.

Lia: How are things up at the castle?
